Adult Programs 

We provide programs for about 50-60 adults per week. Swimming for fitness, rehabilitation and relaxation are just a few of the benefits adults can derive from aquatic programming. Here at the White Mountain Aquatic Center we are dedicated to providing adults with affordable, accessible and enjoyable programs that can make a difference in people's lives.

Our adult swimming and fitness programs run continuously throughout the year.  Tell a friend about the White Mountain Aquatic Center adult programs. It's a lot easier and a lot more fun to engage in fitness and wellness programs with friends. Come and be a part of the development of our programs and our project to build a multiple-pool community aquatic and fitness center in the Mt. Washington Valley.

Cost: FREE for Adult Program members, $5 Pool members, $15 non members.  

Masters Workout Group-October-May

Fun, fitness and fellowship for adults that want to reconnect with swimming or take their swimming to the next level, wherever that may be. Whether you are training for a specific event, just want more of an aerobic workout from your water time or want to become a better swimmer this class may be for you. 
Cost: FREE for Adult Master Program members, $5 Pool members, $15 non members.

 

Adult Water Movement

Friday 9:00-10:00am  
This is a water movement/stretching class for adults who enjoy the water and are looking for a way to get a little more aerobic fitness and overall strength development from their water experiences. Class is dedicated to low impact bottom-based stretching exercises to promote agility and balance. Floating exercises are often used as a relaxing and zen-like way to engage all of your muscles in as low impact manner as possible. You don't have to be an experienced swimmer. You don't even need to be a swimmer at all. The exercises we do are matched to the ability and mobility level of class participants.

High Intensity Water Aerobics with Gerrie Beck


Tuesday 9:00-10:00am
All the fun of regular Water Aerobics at a faster pace using intervals of very hard effort balanced with core strength work and water resistance training. This class uses  a sequence of fast and slower music including tabata intervals designed to increase the work of the heart and lungs. Water Aerobics blends the Zumba philosophy and moves with water resistance to create a pool party.
Cost: FREE for Adult Program members, $5 Pool members, $15 non members.

 

Adult Volleyball with Gerrie Beck


Wednesdays 9:00-10:00am
Join us for a friendly volleyball game.  We play for about an hour but some days we are having so much fun, we go overtime. This is non-competitive, lots of laughs volleyball with whoever shows up to play. There are no assigned teams or expectations and it's great exercise.
