The first priority for the WMAF is to see that the White Mountain Aquatic Center succeeds. We have a three year lease with two years of extensions with the New England Inn for the use of their pool. We started operations in June of 2011 with learn-to-swim programs, the Saco Valley Swim Team, Fitness Swimming, water aerobics and general memberships. The demand for our offerings was immediate. Our fall programs are already filling up. The success of our programs in the summer allowed us to make upgrades to the facility in preparation for the fall programs. However, we still require more upgrades before the winter hits that include another changing room and a vestibule over the entrance to keep the cold wind and mud from boots out.
We need your help to be able to finish our upgrades and maintain our high level of programs for the Mount Washington Valley!
